Schalke 04 interested in Andre Schurrle?

Chelsea midfielder Andre Schurrle is reportedly a transfer target for former Blues boss Roberto di Matteo at Schalke.

Schalke 04 have reportedly been watching Andre Schurrle with a view to signing the Chelsea midfielder.

The German international has struggled for regular playing time under Jose Mourinho this season, leading to speculation that the club will be prepared to let him leave.

According to talkSPORT, former Chelsea manager Roberto di Matteo, who is now in charge at the Bundesliga side, would be keen to bring in Schurrle on loan or on a permanent deal.

Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with Schurrle, who joined Chelsea from Bayer Leverkusen in 2013.
