Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone insists that he will respect striker Radamel Falcao's decision regarding his future with the club.

Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone has insisted that no decision has been made regarding striker Radamel Falcao's future at the club.

Falcao has been linked with a summer move to the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and AS Monaco, but Simeone has revealed that he will feel "happy" with whatever decision the Colombian forward makes in the coming weeks.

The 43-year-old told Marca: "I don't know anything official yet.

"I've known him since he was a child and I wish him all the best. If he feels that he needs to make a move, I'll be happy for him.

"If he stays with us, I'll be happy too."

The 27-year-old has scored 34 goals in 40 appearances for Atletico this season.
