Fernando Torres reveals Luis Suarez sympathy

Chelsea striker Fernando Torres admits that he sympathises with Luis Suarez over wanting to move away from Liverpool.

Chelsea striker Fernando Torres has revealed that he sympathises with Luis Suarez over wanting to leave Liverpool.

The Uruguayan forward recently claimed that he did not know if he would still be at the club next season.

Torres, who left from the Reds to Chelsea in 2011, believes that Suarez's strained relationship with the British media is a good enough reason for wanting to move on.

"I never had a problem with the media, the media had a problem with me," he is quoted as saying by Goal.com. "That affects your family, your friends - it's not easy.

"I know Luis. He is strong enough to play football despite all the rumours and all the talk but it's not easy. Sometimes he might think it's just better to forget about that and move away but it's his decision."

Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are understood to be the teams leading the chase for Suarez's signature.
