Valencia are reportedly keen to open talks with Chelsea regarding the permanent transfer of midfielder Oriol Romeu.
Romeu is currently on a season-long loan deal at the Mestalla, and the Spanish midfielder has made seven appearances in all competitions for the La Liga outfit.
According to Super Deporte, Valencia general manager Rufete is a fan of the 22-year-old, and he has registered an interest in opening talks with the player's agent.
Romeu, who has been plagued by injury since arriving in England in 2011, has another 18 months remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge.
