Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Aston Villa.
Despite scoring 18 goals in the Premier League and Champions League last season, the 22-year-old could find himself further down the pecking order at the beginning of the upcoming campaign.
According to the Daily Mail, that has led to Villa showing an interest in the England international, who is no stranger to the West Midlands outfit.
During 2018-19, Abraham contributed 25 goals from 37 appearances in the Championship, helping Villa earn promotion to the Premier League via the playoffs.
However, while Timo Werner and Olivier Giroud are currently ahead of him in Frank Lampard's thinking, the report says that the striker intends to fight for his place at Stamford Bridge.
Abraham recently penned a one-year contract extension, keeping him tied to the Blues until 2023.
