Chesterfield have signed Sheffield United striker Chris Porter on a one-month loan deal.
The 29-year-old has not featured for the Blades since playing in their 3-1 defeat at Rotherham United last month.
Chesterfield chief executive Chris Turner told the club's official website: "As we're currently suffering from a mini injury crisis amongst the club's strikers and with Eoin Doyle's partner being in the late stages of her pregnancy, we called around the local clubs for cover in that position.
"Chris [Porter] was first on our list and Sheffield United have been extremely helpful in getting the deal sorted by this afternoon."
Porter joined United from Derby County in 2011.
