Half-Time Report: Crawley Town leading Bristol Rovers at the break

Crawley Town lead Bristol Rovers 1-0 at half time in their FA Cup second-round clash.

Crawley Town have a 1-0 lead over Bristol Rovers at half time in tonight's FA Cup second-round clash at Checkatrade.com Stadium.

Jamie Proctor put the home side ahead in the 15th minute with a header from Nicky Adams's cross, although Eliot Richards could have equalised two minutes later but his effort was too high.

David Clarkson saw his header from six yards out saved well by Paul Jones, but they could have been two behind had Adams finished when the chance presented itself inside the box two minutes later.

Jones was on top form once again to prevent John-Joe O'Toole from levelling the score five minutes before the break.

The reward for tonight's winner is a third-round tie against Birmingham City.
