Pablo Mills has been stripped of the Crawley Town captaincy following the club's brawl with Bradford City last week.
The 27-year-old defender, along with teammates Claude Davis and Kyle McFadzean, has been fined two weeks wages following the altercation at the end of the match.
A club statement read: "Mills has been stripped of the captaincy. Crawley Town did not consider his actions befitting that of a club captain.
"The reputation of Crawley Town FC as a welcoming, family club is paramount to our ongoing strategy of development and we will not tolerate incidents such as that at Bradford."
The match finished 2-1 to Crawley.
