Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion have reached half time on level terms at Selhurst Park, despite both sides having chances to break the deadlock.
The Baggies almost forged an early lead as Saido Berahino found himself in behind the Eagles defence and his lob managed to clear Wayne Hennessey, but failed to dip under the crossbar.

Yannick Bolasie, who recently signed a new contract at Selhurst Park, also threatened the West Brom goal in the opening stages as he dispossessed Craig Dawson and fired his shot straight at keeper Boaz Myhill.
Moments later, Jason Puncheon played in Wilfried Zaha, who duly cut inside Chris Brunt before firing a fierce drive just wide of the post.

Both sides continued to push for an opening goal midway through the half, but both Brunt and Bolasie failed to work the opposition keeper.
Just after the half-hour mark, Yohan Cabaye produced a fizzing volley, which drifted wide before Zaha brought another save out of Myhill at his near post.
