Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has said that his team deserved the three points after their 2-0 win against West Bromwich Albion at Selhurst Park.
Goals from Yannick Bolasie and a Yohan Cabaye penalty sealed the victory and Pardew believes that the Frenchman in particular controlled the game from the outset.
The 54-year-old told the BBC: "We were very, very good from the moment we kicked off. We controlled the first half, West Brom had work to do to keep us at bay and that paid dividends for us in the second half.
"We had some good players today, the centre of the pitch was very important to us, Cabaye organised the game and in the wide areas we had the players that won the game for us."
The win saw Palace climb into third and just a point off leaders Manchester United, who play tomorrow.
