Report: Crystal Palace interested in Ally McCoist

Crystal Palace are reportedly preparing to approach Rangers manager Ally McCoist following Tony Pulis's departure.

Crystal Palace have reportedly identified Ally McCoist as a potential replacement for recently-departed manager Tony Pulis.

The Welshman quit Selhurst Park last week amid speculation that he and chairman Steve Parish could not agree over transfers.

According to The Independent, the club are now preparing to make an approach for the Rangers manager, who has guided the Glasgow side to back-to-back promotions in the Scottish League.

Former Celtic manager Neil Lennon and Chelsea assistant Dermot Drummy have also been linked to the role.
