Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer news and rumours, including Romain Esse to Crystal Palace, Woyo Coulibaly to Leicester City and Philip Billing to Napoli.

Crystal Palace have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Millwall attacker Romain Esse.

On Thursday, Millwall boss Alex Neil confirmed Palace's interest in the 19-year-old, before he warned the Eagles that they would have to pay a "significant" fee to sign the teenager.

Neil told BBC Radio London: "If he does move, he'll move for significant money, which from the club's perspective will be brilliant business considering we could have lost him in the summer for free."

According to talkSPORT, Palace are on the verge of signing Esse after agreeing a £14m deal with the Lions, which will make it a club-record sale for the Championship side.

Esse, who can play out wide or as an attacking midfielder, has seemingly impressed Palace with his performances this season, registering four goals and one assist in 23 league appearances.

The England Under-20 international will bolster Oliver Glasner's attacking options, which currently include Eberechi Eze, Ismaila Sarr and Daichi Kamada.

Leicester set to sign Coulibaly

Elsewhere in the Premier League, Leicester City are reportedly on the verge of signing Parma full-back Woyo Coulibaly.

Leicester boss Ruud van Nistelrooy will be keen to bring in reinforcements to help the club in their Premier League survival bid.

The Foxes are seemingly on the brink of announcing their first winter addition, with Gianluca Di Marzio reporting that a deal is 'done' for Leicester to sign Parma defender Coulibaly.

The report claims that the Foxes have fended off interest from Fiorentina to win the race for Coulibaly, who had entered the final six months of his Parma contract.

Coulibaly will provide Van Nistelrooy with a versatile option at full-back, having proven that he can play on the left and right side of defence.

The 25-year-old has featured in 15 competitive matches for Parma this season, taking his overall tally to 88 appearances in all competitions since he joined the club from Le Havre in the summer of 2021.

Billing swaps Bournemouth for Napoli

While Coulibaly is set to leave Serie A, Bournemouth's Philip Billing has moved in the opposite direction, having completed a loan move to Napoli.

Billing has represented the Cherries in 201 matches since he completed a move from Huddersfield Town in July 2019.

However, the midfielder has struggled to gain regular game time this season, demonstrated by the fact that he has started once in 10 top-flight appearances.

From being on the periphery of the Bournemouth squad, Billing has now been offered a lifeline by Antonio Conte's title challengers.

The Italian side have confirmed they have signed the 28-year-old on a loan deal until the end of the current season.

As per Sky Sports News, Napoli have the option to make the move permanent for £9m, and they are said to be paying the player's wages during the course of his loan.

The Dane has joined a club that are sitting top of the Serie A table with 44 points from 19 matches, leaving them two points clear of Atalanta BC and four points above third-placed Inter Milan, who have two games in hand.
