Crystal Palace 'make £20m bid for Saido Berahino'

Crystal Palace reportedly join Stoke City in the race to sign West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino, making an offer in excess of £20m.

Crystal Palace have reportedly made a bid in excess of £20m for West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino.

Berahino has been heavily linked with a move away from The Hawthorns in each of the past three transfer windows, and recently rejected a new four-year deal at West Brom.

Stoke City are known to be interested in the 22-year-old, but Sky Sports News reports that Crystal Palace have also entered the race with an improved offer.

The Potters are thought to have made a £20m bid for the striker which Palace have topped, but neither club has yet heard back from the Baggies.

Berahino made just 17 Premier League starts during a frustrating 2015-16 campaign, scoring four goals.
