Crystal Palace assistant boss Keith Millen has claimed that Wilfried Zaha is 'more than happy' at Selhurst Park despite an alleged contract row causing speculation over the winger's future.
The 23-year-old had reportedly expected to be offered fresh terms with the Eagles this summer to put him in line with the club's highest earners.
According to The Sun, Zaha - whose current deal runs until 2020 - was told by the Palace board that he will not be offered a new deal, causing friction between player and club.
Millen poured cold water on the speculation, telling The Mirror: "It's paper talk. Wilf is more than happy here. There is no response from the club because there is no need for one. It is just a story.
"Wilf is a massive part of what we're trying to do and he's happy here. We brought him back from Manchester United so we certainly don't want to lose him.
"Stories like this are not ideal but it is the world we live in in the Premier League. The manager deals with it in his way and if there is anything to be dealt with he will do it in his office with the player."
Zaha came through the ranks at Palace and has made 159 appearances at the London club over two spells.
