Crystal Palace fighting with Getafe for Yossi Benayoun?

Yossi Benayoun will reportedly travel to London for talks with Crystal Palace, although the Premier League side face competition from Getafe.

Crystal Palace are chasing Yossi Benayoun but face competition from Spanish side Getafe, according to reports.

The former Liverpool and Chelsea player, 33, left Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Reports in the Daily Mail suggest that Benayoun has arrived in London for talks with Ian Holloway's side.

The player himself tweeted that he was on his way to the capital for some "important meetings".

However, he will then apparently travel to Madrid for talks with Getafe.

Benayoun is a free agent and therefore can move outside of the transfer window.
