Chelsea have confirmed that they have released Paulo Ferreira, Yossi Benayoun, Florent Malouda and Ross Turnbull.
None of the quartet were considering part of the first team under new manager Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge and have been allowed to leave the club after their contracts expired.
Malouda spent last season with the reserve team, while Benayoun was used sparingly by then interim manager Rafael Benitez after spells on loan at West Ham United and Arsenal.
Portuguese defender Ferreira was third choice right-back with the Blues and Turnbull made just 19 appearances in four years at the club.
