Manchester United will have to pay £15m for Wilfried Zaha and let the winger stay at Crystal Palace until the end of the season, according to reports.

Crystal Palace have reportedly told Manchester United that they will have to pay £15m plus add-ons for Wilfried Zaha and allow the winger to stay at Selhurst Park until the end of the season.

United are the frontrunners to sign the Palace starlet, with Tottenham Hotspur thought to have dropped out of the race earlier this week.

Eagles boss Ian Holloway is desperate to keep Zaha until the summer as the club continue to challenge for promotion to the Premier League.

The 20-year-old's progress has been personally monitored by Sir Alex Ferguson and he is ready to continue negotiations in an effort to seal the deal this month, according to The Mirror.

Zaha passed a late fitness test to start for Palace yesterday as they slipped to a 1-0 defeat against Burnley.
