Burnley enjoy a bright first 45 minutes against promotion-chasing Crystal Palace as the first half ends goalless.

Crystal Palace have been frustrated by a bright Burnley side in an entertaining first 45 minutes at Turf Moor.

Burnley have looked lively on the counter through Junior Stanislas and Danny Ings, who fired just over in the early stages.

Palace struggled to create clear-cut chances, with Glenn Murray firing wide with a strike on goal for Ian Holloway's side after 10 minutes.

Sam Vokes was inches away from connecting with Kieran Trippier's low drive on goal just before the break to end a bright half for the home side.

Wilfried Zaha was a peripheral figure in the early stages but a storming run and shot nearly broke the deadlock, with a strong save from Lee Grant required to keep the game goalless.
