Southampton stay top of the Championship thanks to a Ricky Lambert goal that held Derby County to a tie at Pride Park this afternoon.
Derby striker Theo Robinson put the home side ahead from close range after just two minutes following an early Steven Davies penalty appeal.
League leaders Southampton almost tied the score after 30 minutes through defender Jack Cork, whose attempt was cleared off the line.
Nigel Clough's side continued to contain the Saints in the early stages of the second half, but failed to stop Ricky Lambert from slotting the ball inside the post on the hour-mark to tie the score.
Derby remain in playoff contention in fourth place, ahead of their trip to Reading on Tuesday.
