Doncaster Rovers boss Paul Dickov has revealed that Rob Jones will miss the next "six to eight weeks" with a neck injury.
The 34-year-old suffered the injury during the warm-up prior to Saturday's defeat against Brighton & Hove Albion and was subsequently sent for a scan, which revealed two bulging discs at the base of his neck.
"Unfortunately we won't have Rob back for around six to eight weeks. Following this he will need a rehabilitation period to get back to match fitness," Dickov told the club's official website.
"Physio Alex Dalton will be assessing Rob throughout and he will have further tests before he trains again to make sure it has settled."
Jones has been ever-present for the Championship outfit this season.
