Jackie McNamara hails his Dundee United players

Jackie McNamara hails his Dundee United players for coming from behind to beat Kilmarnock at Tannadice.

Dundee United manager Jackie McNamara has hailed his players for showing "character" to come from behind to beat Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership.

The Terrors were trailing 2-1 with 64 minutes played, but goals from Curtis Good and John Rankin helped turn the game on its head.

"I was delighted with the way the players showed character to come from behind and win the game," McNamara is quoted as saying by football365.com. "It was a big win for us, having been 2-1 down. It was a great game and fortunately we came out on top.

"Both teams played good football and all credit to Kilmarnock for playing the way they did. They came and passed the ball and have some good players.

"We were a bit sloppy at times with our passing. We were passing the ball back a lot but once we got back to 2-2 we looked strong again."

Dundee are back in action on Friday night when they host Motherwell at Tannadice.
