Scottish Premiership roundup: Wins for Dundee United, Aberdeen, Kilmarnock

Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Saturday afternoon's games in the Scottish Premiership.

There were wins for Dundee United, Aberdeen and Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon.

Nadir Ciftci scored twice in the first half to give Dundee United the lead over St Mirren, including once from the penalty spot.

Ryan Gauld and Chris Erskine added further efforts after the break in a comfortable victory for the home side.

Aberdeen scored twice in the final 10 minutes to take victory at Hibernian this afternoon, moving them up to second in the table.

Substitute Scott Vernon slotted the ball in in the 80th minute, before Gregg Wylde, who also came off the bench, secured all three points for the visitors in stoppage time.

A goal in each half from Kris Boyd gave Kilmarnock victory over Hearts, moving them up to 10th.

The striker tapped in from a Sean Clohessy cross to open the scoring, before driving the ball in with a powerful left-footed finish after the break.
