Scottish Premiership roundup: Dundee United held by St Mirren

Sports Mole rounds up a night of Scottish Premiership action as Celtic go top and Dundee are held by St Mirren.

Dundee United missed out on the chance to go third in the Scottish Premiership after they were held to a 1-1 draw with struggling St Mirren.

Kenny McLean gave St Mirren the lead in the first half, but Stuart Armstrong levelled up with a fine effort shortly before the break as the home side moved four points above the drop zone.

Kris Doolan was the star of the show for Partick Thistle as he struck four goals in a 5-0 win over Hamilton Academical.

Nathan Ecclestone scored the home side's other goal as they ran riot.

Greg Stewart celebrated his new Dundee contact with the winning goal as they leapfrogged Kilmarnock with a 1-0 win.

Meanwhile, Celtic went top of the division with a convincing 4-0 win over Motherwell.
