Paul McManus, Stuart Malcolm, Gavin Malin and Dale Hilson were on target for Forfar, moving them off the bottom of the table.

Stranraer edged a five-goal thriller against Arbroath 3-2, with the visitors almost coming back from three goals down, while Stenhousemuir drew 1-1 with East Fife to remain third.

Elsewhere, first-half goals from Martin Hardie and Liam Coogans coupled with a 90th-minute strike by Lewis Coult gave Airdrieonians a 3-1 win over Brechin City.

League leaders Rangers take on Aye United tomorrow.
