East Fife have grabbed only their third win at home this season as they beat East Stirlingshire 2-1 at Bayview Stadium thanks to a brace from Sean Dickson.
David McKenna's header from a set piece flew narrowly wide for the away side midway through the first half, before Dickson went close for the hosts.
On the verge of half time East Fife took the lead when Dickson collected Allan Walker's pass and unleashed a powerful strike into the top right corner of Richard Barnard's goal from the edge of the box.
Dickson doubled his side's lead with another long-range strike just after the hour mark that ensured all three points belonged to East Fife, despite Billy Vidler's consolation strike two minutes from time.
