Preview: Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Bordeaux

Sports Mole previews Thursday's Europa League clash between Eintracht Frankfurt and Bordeaux in Germany.

Bordeaux will look to continue their solid run of form against German opposition when they travel to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League on Thursday.

The French outfit have not lost in their last four meetings against German teams, while their overall record reads won 14, drawn two and lost nine of their 25 matches.

Bordeaux made it to the first knockout round in the Europa League last season, but they have won just one of their last seven away games in Europe.

Frankfurt, meanwhile, have won two of their last five European fixtures against French opposition, but they have not featured in the Europa League since failing to make it through to the group stages of the 2006-07 campaign.

The home side have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the match and could name the same team that put three past Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga at the weekend, meaning that three-goal striker Vaclav Kadlec will continue to lead their line.

Takashi Inui is also expected to continue in midfield, but Joselu and Srdjan Lakic will have to be content with spots on the bench.

Bordeaux, meanwhile, could be without the services of Jeremie Brechet, but boss Francis Gillot is expected to name an attacking lineup with Henri Saivet and Cheick Diabate both included.
