Eintracht Frankfurt and Nuremberg play out a goalless draw with each other in the Bundesliga.

Eintracht Frankfurt have been held to a goalless draw by Nuremberg at home in the Bundesliga.

Chances were few and far between in the first half that ended with neither side able to find the target.

Mike Frantz turned Javier Pinola's cross towards goal from close range for the visitors after 22 minutes, but failed to get it past Kevin Trapp.

Trapp denied Tomas Pekhart three minutes later, before Alexander Meier fired wide for the home side from outside the box on the half-hour mark.

Sebastian Rode too tried his luck with a shot from distance, but failed to keep his attempt on target.

Takashi Inui came close for Frankfurt seven minutes into the second half, only to be thwarted by Raphael Schafer.
