Raymond Domenech says that France should easily overcome England as Roy Hodgson's men do not have any quality.

Former France boss Raymond Domenech believes that Les Bleus should beat England easily in their opening Euro 2012 game.

Both teams have been drawn in Group D, alongside Sweden and co-hosts Ukraine, with Domenech rating his country as one of the favourites for the tournament.

Domenech lead France to a 2-1 victory against the Three Lions in the opening game of the Euro 2004 tournament in Portugal.

"The game against England should be easy as they have no quality," the Daily Mail quotes Domenech as saying. "Then we must not lose against Ukraine and we will progress past the first round.

"I put France among the favourites, I truly believe it. They should get to the semifinals at least."

The 60-year-old was replaced by Laurent Blanc after a disastrous World Cup campaign in South Africa.
