Croatia manager Slaven Bilic believes that Harry Redknapp is 'destined' to manage England at the European Championships this summer.
The Tottenham Hostpur boss is the favourite to take over from Fabio Capello, who left the post vacant when he resigned in February.
Bilic, who played under Redknapp at West Ham United, thinks that the 65-year-old managing the Three Lions is a perfect fit for both parties.
"If you ask the people it's Harry. If you ask the players it's Harry. If you ask the managers it's Harry. Even Messi has a rival in Ronaldo. Harry is on his own." said Bilic.
"It's Harry's job to turn down and I think he wants it. He has nothing to lose. No-one will judge him at Euro 2012 even if he fails. He can only gain. It is perfect.
"That is why Harry is destined for the job. No-one expected Capello to resign but the FA have it easy. It will be Harry."
Bilic's Croatia are in Group C for the tournament, alongside Spain, Italy and Republic of Ireland.
