England and Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish admits that he would love to watch England down the pub, and he is relishing the experience of Euro 2020.

England midfielder Jack Grealish has admitted that if he was not playing at Euro 2020 he would love to watch the national side down the pub.

The Aston Villa captain was an impact substitute used by Gareth Southgate in England's 2-0 victory against Germany, as he came on and provided the assist for Harry Kane's goal that sealed the famous win under the arch.

Grealish is relishing the experience of his first major international tournament, and has quickly become a fans' favourite after 10 England caps.

The 25-year-old told reporters at St George's Park that he would be enjoying watching England as a fan if he were not in the squad: "I think if I wasn't a footballer and I was just with my mates and stuff I would just love to be doing what they're doing.

"I'd be travelling everywhere watching England, being in pubs and stuff. I'd love it. I think I'd be at BOXPARK. I've seen a few videos of that and it looked unreal. So that's what I'd be doing, because at the end of the day, I'm just a normal kid.

"They are all giving me that support and doing it for the whole team and it's so nice to see them being part of that. I try and get fans off their seats.

"I try and attack as much as possible and I think that's what fans want to see. I try and do that as much as I can. I know what I am good at."

England face Ukraine in Rome on Saturday as the national side bid to reach the semi-finals of the Euros to be played at Wembley.
