Good evening and welcome to Sports Mole's live coverage of this evening's friendly encounter between England and the Netherlands.
Interim boss Stuart Pearce named Tottenham midfielder Scott Parker as his captain earlier today, meaning he will lead out his country at Wembley.
The last game between the two sides took place in August 2009 and finished in a 2-2 draw after England came from 2-0 behind.
The Netherlands lie in third place in the FIFA World Rankings, two places above England, who sit fifth.

min: Tonight's referee is Felix Brych from Germany.
min: It's the Netherlands who get us underway this evening, with Wembley sensing a new beginning for England.
min: Good work from Leighton Baines down the left side of the pitch, but his cross is too high for Danny Welbeck.
min: It's great work from Scott Parker, who snuffs out the danger from Robin van Persie. Chris Smalling clears the danger from the penalty area.
min: Arjen Robben puts his goalkeeper in trouble with an unwanted back-pass, but the Dutch manage to clear the danger.
min: Good work from Ashley Young gives England their second corner in quick succession, and Gary Cahill so nearly found the net with a thumping header.
min: Stuart Pearce will be pleased with his side's start this evening, but the quality of the Dutch midfield is there for all to see.
min: Young seems to have been given licence to drift in the early stages, with Adam Johnson on the opposite wing very much hugging the touchline.
min: The first sight of goal arrives for the Netherlands through Arjen Robben, but Joe Hart beats the ball to safety.
min: It's good possession from the home side who play the ball along the defence, but the Dutch seem content to allow England to play where they can see them.
min: Wonderful from the skipper Parker who throws himself in front of Van Persie to block the Arsenal forward's effort.
min: It's cynical from Mark Van Bommel, who chops Micah Richards down in his prime. Should really be a card.
min: It just isn't quite happening in the final third for England thus far as another attack breaks down.
min: Welbeck so nearly had an invitation to shoot but Maarten Stekelenburg rushes out to clear the danger in the Dutch goal.
min: Good skill from Johnson who skipped past the Dutch defence, but his effort just deflects wide of Stekelenburg's post.
min: England so nearly take the lead after good work from Johnson and Richards, but Barry's effort was blocked by a combination of the Dutch defence.
min: It's good possession football from the home side once more, but their inability to get Steven Gerrard on the ball has worked against them in the opening 30 minutes of football.
min: Good defensive work from Johnson gives England possession in their own half. Daniel Sturridge will join us in place of Gerrard, who seems to be carrying a knock.
min: Bright work from Sturridge almost brings the opening goal of the match, but his cross is cleared inside the Dutch area.
min: We are seeing a typical international fixture this evening. A lot of patience, something which the Spanish do so well.
min: It's really good play from the Dutch with Robben and Wesley Sneijder involved, but Van Persie's effort is over the bar.
min: Rash challenge by Nigel De Jong on Parker gives England possession of the ball inside the Dutch half. Young's delivery is good, but Richards simply could not connect with his head.
min: It's good work from Johnson who produces a cross from the right-hand side of the pitch, but Young's header drifts just high of the bar.
min: Brych blows his whistle to bring the opening period to an end.
HALF TIME: England will certainly be happy with their half of football against such a classy side. Sturridge's introduction has certainly livened the pace, but with the quality the Dutch possess, they will fancy their chances in the second period.
min: England make one change with James Milner entering the game in place of Gareth Barry, while the Dutch bring Klaas-Jan Huntelaar into proceedings in place of Van Persie, and Stijn Schaars in place of Erik Pieters.
min: Richards picks up the first yellow card of the game after a challenge on Robben. There have certainly been worse tackles this evening.
min: Chance! England's best chance of the match falls to Sturridge who brings the best out of Stekelenburg in the Dutch goal.
min: It's yet more possession for the home side with Smalling and Cahill dictating the play from defence.
min: Chance! Huntelaar so nearly gives the Netherlands the lead with a thumping strike from the edge of the area, but it drifts just wide of the post. The Schalke 04 striker has been in some serious form in the Bundesliga this season.
min: GOAL! England 0-1 The Netherlands (Robben)
It's simply brilliant from Robben who dances through the England defence before finding the bottom corner with a fine finish.
min: GOAL! England 0-2 The Netherlands (Huntelaar)
Huntelaar makes it 2-0 to the away side with a thumping header after a fine cross from Dirk Kuyt.
min: Smalling and Huntelaar remain dazed in the area after a clash of heads, with the Manchester United defender unable to stand.
min: Huntelaar and Smalling both depart after their clash of heads, with Luuk De Jong and Phil Jones on in their place.
min: Stewart Downing also joins us for England in place of Johnson, and he so nearly cuts the score to 2-1 with an effort from inside the area.
min: England have lost their way in this second period, they didn't quite know what hit them when they fell behind and their passing has been off target ever since.
min: The Dutch go close again with a powerful effort from Robben, but Richards manages to block his route to goal.
min: England relinquish possession once more, with Welbeck and Young failing to fashion an opportunity in the final third.
min: Chance! Sturridge somehow places the ball straight into Stekelenburg's hands when it looked easier to score.
min: The ever-dangerous Robben finds another route to goal, but his effort is blocked by Baines. It's been a really impressive evening from the Bayern Munich winger.
min: Sneijder departs for the Dutch, with Urby Emauelson entering the frame.
min: Fraizer Campbell enters the frame for England for his first cap in place of Welbeck, who has run his socks off tonight.
min: The atmosphere has dropped at Wembley with those two Dutch goals in two minutes earlier in the half, which have really knocked the home side for six.
min: The Dutch continue to keep the ball in the latter stages. It has been a very polished performance from the World Cup 2010 finalists and they must be amongst the favourites for Euro 2012.
min: Khalid Boulahrouz departs for the Dutch, with Ron Vlaar on in his place.
min: Half a chance for Campbell, who wriggles away from the Dutch defence, but his shot is blocked by the impressive Joris Mathijsen.
min: GOAL! England 1-2 The Netherlands (Cahill)
Cahill cuts the score to 2-1 with a fine display of skill inside the area, the Chelsea defender looked offside, but his cool finish has given England half a chance in this game.
min: Kuyt goes close for the Dutch, as Sturridge departs the field to be replaced by Theo Walcott.
min: We will play an additional four minutes in this game, as England seek the equaliser.
min: GOAL! England 2-2 The Netherlands (Young)
England have done it! A fine pass from Jones releases Manchester United teammate Young, and the winger produces a fine finish into the corner of the net.
min: GOAL! England 2-3 The Netherlands (Robben)
We have another late strike! Robben surely wins it for the Dutch with an effort from outside the area, albeit via a huge deflection.
FULL TIME: So there we have it, the Dutch win it late on with a strike from the impressive Robben, who in truth troubled England all evening. Stuart Pearce will certainly have been delighted with his side's character to bounce back from 2-0 down, and although they have lost the match, there were certainly positives on show. Thanks for joining Sports Mole for this explosive encounter.
