Report: Football Association want Roy Hodgson to explain England World Cup woe

A report claims that some members of the Football Association want Roy Hodgson to explain to them in person why England's World Cup results were so poor.

Certain members of the Football Association reportedly want Roy Hodgson to appear before them to explain England's poor World Cup showing.

The FA last week assured the 66-year-old that his job as manager is safe, despite the Three Lions finishing bottom of their group having failed to win a single game in Brazil.

Although the body remain united in support of Hodsgon, the Daily Mail reports that some members want the man in charge to explain in person why results were so disappointing.

Hodgson, who yesterday said that he is "not a quitter", has two years remaining on his contract.
