England manager Roy Hodgson has admitted that he is pleased with the point that his side picked up in Wednesday's 1-1 draw with Poland.
Wayne Rooney had put the visitors ahead in the World Cup qualifier in Warsaw before Kamil Glik earned the hosts a share of the spoils.
"I don't think it was one of our better performances, but there are lots of factors that need to be taken into account," said Hodgson.
"The pitch was soggy. It was suited to long ball game not a passing game. The extra 36 hours or so staying here in a hotel didn't help. Having said that I am pleased with point as I don't think we played well. We might find it is an important point."
The draw has seen England go top of Group H, one point ahead of second-placed Montenegro.
