Roy Hodgson has venue concerns

Roy Hodgson says that he is worried about which locations his England side will play in during the World Cup.

England manager Roy Hodgson has conceded that he is more wary of where rather than who his side will play their matches at next year's World Cup in Brazil.

Due to the fact that the Three Lions are in the second pot, they could be drawn alongside the likes of Argentina, Germany and Italy, as well as the hosts.

However, due to altitude and heat concerns, Hodgson has revealed that the conditions have dominated his thoughts.

"Maybe in terms of the teams you are drawn against some on paper look harder than others but I'm more concerned if anything by the venues than by the teams we draw," he told reporters.

The draw for the tournament's group stages will take place this Friday.
