Team News: Roy Hodgson hands starts to Danny Welbeck, Adam Lallana

England boss Roy Hodgson hands starts to Adam Lallana and Danny Welbeck in his side's final game on home soil before the start of the World Cup against Brazil.

England boss Roy Hodgson has handed starts to Danny Welbeck and Adam Lallana in the Three Lions' warm-up clash against Peru.

The duo are looking to force their way into Hodgson's starting XI ahead of England's World Cup campaign which gets underway on June 14 against Italy.

Hodgson has made four changes from his last side in March that defeated Denmark, as Leighton Baines replaces Ashley Cole and the fit-again Phil Jagielka deposes Chris Smalling at the back.

Welbeck and Lallana have come in for Jack Wilshere and Raheem Sterling, who are forced to settle for a place on the bench in England's last game on home soil before the start of the tournament.
