Romelu Lukaku close to Everton return

Everton manager Roberto Martinez reveals that striker Romelu Lukaku is likely to be fit for the team's remaining games this season.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has revealed that Romelu Lukaku should be back to full fitness for Saturday's visit of Burnley in the Premier League.

The striker, who has scored 18 goals in 42 appearances so far this season, has missed the Toffees' last two matches due to a hamstring problem.

"Rom is training with the group and I would expect him to be fully fit for Saturday," Martinez told the club's official website. "If he trains and doesn't get any reaction over the next few days then clearly he will be fully fit and available for the next six games, which is exactly what we want."

Everton are currently in 12th place in the Premier League table following a four-game unbeaten run.
