Everton loanee Landon Donovan believes that he has improved as a player since his first spell with the club.
The USA rejoined the Toffees earlier this month for an eight-week loan spell, two years after initially signing for the club on a temporary basis.
"I'm more experienced and a better player than I was two years ago," he told the club's official website. "Before you get to the end of your career, mentally you get better and better.
"I feel I have grown a lot over the last two years. I've had a World Cup and I feel these may be the best few years of my career."
Donovan is expected to feature against Bolton Wanderers this evening.
