Morgan Schneiderlin, Kevin Mirallas 'removed from Everton training'

Everton pair Morgan Schneiderlin and Kevin Mirallas were reportedly removed from training ahead of the club's Premier League fixture with Watford.

Everton interim boss David Unsworth reportedly decided to remove both Morgan Schneiderlin and Kevin Mirallas from training on Saturday.

The Toffees had been preparing for their Premier League fixture with Watford - which they won 3-2 after overturning a two-goal deficit - but it appears that Unsworth was unhappy with the pair in the hours leading up to the game at Goodison Park.

According to Sky Sports News, Unsworth decided that Schneiderlin and Mirallas had not been making sufficient effort in the build-up to what was potentially Unsworth's last game in charge.

On Thursday night, Schneiderlin had been sent off in the 3-0 defeat to Lyon in the Europa League, while Mirallas remained an unused substitute for the game in France.

Both players have been linked with a move away from the Merseyside outfit, with Schneiderlin failing to impress since a transfer from Manchester United in January and Mirallas missing out on an exit during the summer window.
