Everton captain Phil Neville has urged the Everton fans to give David Moyes a raucous reception in his final home game in charge of the Toffees.
Moyes has agreed a deal to join Manchester United on a six-year deal, and the departing skipper said that he is glad the attention will be on his manager and not himself.
"With the events of this week for Everton, for me personally, the manager, players, supporters and chairman, it will be one of those special days we remember for the rest of our lives," Sky Sports News quotes Neville as saying.
"Forget my situation, just in terms of the celebration of the manager and his achievements it is going to be an unbelievable day and one I can't wait to be involved in.
"I am actually a little bit glad [that the attention will be on Moyes] in a way. I don't want any fuss, I've not deserved the fuss, I've just been a player."
Neville has been at Everton since leaving Manchester United in 2005.
