Phil Neville has said that he was impressed with the contribution of Denis Stracqualursi in Everton's draw with Norwich City.

The Argentinean striker put in an eye-catching display as he came on with thirty minutes left as the Toffees searched for an equaliser.

"I thought Denis was outstanding. He won every header, he occupied the back four, he caused problems and fought for every ball," Neville told evertontv.

"The boys appreciated it because while he may not have had too many opportunities he has come in to training every day and worked his socks off.

"When you work as hard as he does you get your rewards."

Stracqualursi joined Everton on a season-long loan from Argentine club Tigres in the summer.
