Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo reportedly rebuffs the advances of Everton in favour of guiding his side to Premier League promotion.

Nuno Espirito Santo reportedly has no interest in taking on the Everton job as he instead wants to see through his project at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 43-year-old has emerged as a rumoured target for the Toffees, who have been on the lookout for a new boss since parting company with Ronald Koeman eight days ago.

According to respected Spanish journalism Guillem Balague, Everton have already made contact with the Wolves manager and were awaiting a response.

In a further development, however, the same source suggests that Nuno has opted to turn down the chance to begin talks with Everton in favour of leading Wolves to the Premier League.

Balague posted on Twitter: "Nuno has been told of interest by Everton but does not want to move... 'even if the best team in the world comes calling,' I have been told."

Nuno has been a big hit at Molineux since taking charge in the summer, guiding Wolves to top spot in the second tier with 10 wins from their opening 15 games.
