Everton's John Stones: 'We are back to our best'

Everton defender John Stones feels that his side are slowly getting back to their best form in the Premier League following their victory over Manchester United.

Everton defender John Stones believes that his side are getting back to their best form following their 3-0 victory over Manchester United.

The Toffees have struggled for the majority of the campaign as they failed to get to grips with the dual responsibility of playing in the top flight and the Europa League.

However, Roberto Martinez's men are now unbeaten in their last six matches in the top flight, which includes this afternoon's comfortable victory against United in which Stones, James McCarthy and Kevin Mirallas got on the scoresheet.

Stones told Sky Sports News: "It's been a long time waiting for my first goal. I've had pressure from players and staff to get goals.

"These are the big games you look forward to. I enjoyed myself today. We know we've been under par this season, the last 10 games or so we've shown we're getting back to ourselves."

Everton moved up to 10th in the Premier League table as a result of their triumph at Goodison Park.
