Thomas Tuchel open to Everton approach?

Former Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel reportedly indicates that he is open to discussions about the vacant managerial role at Everton.

Thomas Tuchel has reportedly indicated that he would be interested in speaking to Everton about the vacant managerial role at Goodison Park.

On Monday, Everton announced that Ronald Koeman had been removed from his position after a poor run of form in both the Premier League and Europa League.

Interim boss David Unsworth has admitted that he would like to replace Koeman in the dugout but according to Sky Sports News, the club legend could have competition from Tuchel.

The former Borussia Dortmund boss is said to be only willing to consider clubs who compete in Europe, and the potential of the Merseyside giants under owner Farhad Moshiri could excite the 44-year-old.

Unsworth has been placed in charge for Wednesday's EFL Cup tie at Chelsea, but the ex-defender could potentially be handed the reins for an extended period.
