Everton are in talks with Bournemouth's Asmir Begovic over a two-year deal at Goodison Park, according to a report.

Everton are reportedly in discussions with Bournemouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic over a switch to Goodison Park during this summer's transfer window.

The 34-year-old has been with the Cherries since 2017, making 121 appearances in all competitions, but he has recently had loan spells at Qarabag and AC Milan.

According to talkSPORT, Begovic, who still has one year left to run on his deal with Bournemouth, is in talks with Everton over a two-year contract.

The report claims that the Toffees want the Bosnia-Herzegovina international to provide competition for Jordan Pickford between the sticks during the 2021-22 campaign.

Begovic's Championship club are allegedly open to the idea of the experienced goalkeeper leaving on a free transfer this summer.

The former Portsmouth youngster has played on 252 occasions in the Premier League during spells with Portsmouth, Stoke City, Chelsea and Bournemouth.
