Everton not attempting to sign Lyon forward Bertrand Traore?

Everton are allegedly not trying to sign Lyon forward Bertrand Traore, despite suggestions to the contrary earlier this month.

Everton reportedly have no interest in signing Lyon forward Bertrand Traore this summer.

The 23-year-old - formerly of Chelsea - may be available having contributed just seven goals from 34 Ligue 1 appearances during the most recent campaign.

A report has previously indicated that Everton were considering an approach for the Burkina Faso international, who still has three years left on his contract.

That may not be the case, however, with the Liverpool Echo claiming that the versatile attacker will not be making the switch to Goodison Park.

The report adds that while Everton are keen to strengthen in the final third, Marco Silva does not intend to hand Traore a second opportunity in the Premier League.
