Everton's pursuit of talented youngster Moise Kean has taken a significant blow after Juventus reportedly made it clear that they do not want to sell the striker this summer.
Manager Marco Silva wants to bolster his side's attacking firepower after strikers Cenk Tosun and Dominic Calvert-Lewin only managed nine Premier League goals between them last season.
The Toffees reportedly launched a bid worth £27m for Kean earlier this month, only for the offer to be flatly rejected by Juventus.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus have received offers from England of up to £35.9m for Kean, but are not interested in selling the player for that price.
Sporting director Fabio Paratici wants to breed a "star team of under 30s" in Turin and is therefore determined to keep Kean, who scored six league goals towards the end of last season.
Ajax are another club interested in Kean, and will reportedly attempt to include the 19-year-old in a deal which will see captain Matthijs de Ligt join the Old Lady this summer.
