Giuseppe Rossi has revealed that he took part in training with his Fiorentina teammates for the first time this morning.
The Italian international, who joined La Voila from Villarreal last month, has not played a competitive match since October 2011 because of two knee injuries.
However, he stepped up his recovery today amid reports that he could return to action next month.
"Excited this morning bc its gonna be the first time I put soccer shoes on in 10 months! #feelinglikeakidagain," he wrote on Twitter.
The 26-year-old began his professional career with Manchester United.
