France to name two Euro 2012 squads

Laurent Blanc will pick two preliminary France squad for this summer's European Championships.

France coach Laurent Blanc will name two preliminary squads for the European Championships this summer.

The first squad will be made up of foreign-based players and will be named on Wednesday, May 9, while a second squad comprising Ligue 1 footballers will be announced a week later.

Blanc will then have until Tuesday, May 29 to narrow down those lists and submit a final 23-man squad to UEFA.

France have been grouped alongside England, Sweden and co-hosts Ukraine at the tournament.
