France playmaker Samir Nasri taunted the England bench following his equaliser in the Group D match on Monday.
The Manchester City midfielder levelled in the 39th minute before shouting "ferme ta gueule", or "shut your gob", towards the England bench.
It is understood that his words were aimed at England boss Roy Hodgson and his assistant Gary Neville.
However, French boss Laurent Blanc refused to condemn the incident. He told reporters: "That's between him and his detractors. There are individual and personal reactions. These are things we don't always expect. I think Samir was happy to score and play a good game."
Nasri has 32 international caps to his name.
