France coach Laurent Blanc believes that a draw against England was a good result.

Laurent Blanc has said that France's 1-1 draw with England was a decent result.

A goal from Samir Nasri cancelled out Joleon Lescott's opener as Group D got underway in Donetsk.

Blanc said that Les Bleus caused Roy Hodgson's men problems and could have taken all three points at the Donbass Arena.

"We put them in difficulty," Blanc told TF1. "We could have scored a second, even if opportunities were rare. But the draw is deserved and is not a bad result."

France next face Ukraine on Friday.
